You know what you’re getting with Trouble Witches. It’s the same damn game every release, yes. It’s never going to shake the gaming world with it’s innovative brilliance, no.
But it’s always a playable little shmup, or should I say ‘Cute Em Up’.
It’s formulaic but when the formula works, why change it?
I’ll be TOtally HOnest with yoU.
They’re just riding on someone else’s bandwagon, making a game saga that looks cuter than the original one, but without really adding anything at all, so “why not just play the original saga instead?” is the only question you could have.
And really, they’re even late to the bandwagon. Too many Touhou clones out there.

If there’s nothing wrong with it why fixing?
It’s not that bad I guess, Capcom kept releasing Megaman with minimal to no change beside story
and master robots, and the game was and still success to this day.
Sometimes it’s just simple and fun what makes a game great.
