like someone already said the game always crash at the end of the mission 3 chapters 2, for the online i want to know if it work on lan. but the game itself is really nice but you need a controller cos the controls with the keyboard are bad + yes its locked to 30 fps but the game is good but for now cant play anymore cos of the crash let’s pray for a corrected version

So apparently this does not work with multiplayer, even using Steamfixes. No matter how many times I host or search, nothing comes up.
Why does it run so poorly? It’s a VIta port for FS!

Apparently there’s some kind of bug, either with the PC version or this illegitimate version in which even after completing required quests your maximum storage for materials and weapons does not exceed 99. By around half-way through Chapter 3 I had too many materials and had to sell some because of this glitch/bug.
Here’s hoping a future patch will fix it, and if not maybe something with Cheat Engine or a trainer can alleviate the issue.
Btw, with a gamepad the game runs fairly reasonable. It lags a bit, but we do get what we paid for and I have enjoyed it quite a bit despite the performance issues and inventory issues. =)
Don’t even bother ing if you don’t have a gamepad, there’s no MO– — USE compatibility, lol. You basically do everything with the keyboard.

For those who are experiencing game crashes which are sometimes occur during loading screen, i found a solution that might work, what i did was located the file called steam_api64.cdx in the root folder of your game, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\TOUKIDEN Kiwami (cause i have 64 bits), anyway this might fix your problem, i have been playing for couple of hours now and it working fine. Enjoy 🙂

KoeiTecmo games on PC are always horrible port…
Anyone got the problem where the character skin is just…non existent? See through? And backing out of character creation crash the game.
Mine just crashes always somewhere in the first mission. It has even crashed in the tutorial. I’ll just wait for the next update ^^
Turn out the damn thing was just using the wrong video card. Had to set that manually,
Compatibility mode win7 fixed most crash for me, would be nice if we could get a fix for the not expanding storage tho.
who ever whines about that there isnt any mouse compatability-so what? u still can do good with keyboard set keyboard options best way it suits you and get used to it. i already got used to do all with keyboard :P.sometimes a little problem with camera but still better than nothing

unlike DBZ xenoverse or neptunia re;birth2 which require 64 bit but still can be played on 32 bit windows, for this game 64 bit is absolute requirement.

Toukiden Kiwami seems to crash when I start this very first dungeon after introduction fight. I go through the first red portal to the right and after it is done loading, it crashes when I enter the first location or battle or whatever it is. Help please?

Guys!!!! I found out how to by the freezing screen when you get two mitama. Well for me it froze when i killed the winged oni in chapter 3 mission 5 when i recieved two mitama. Let the time run out and it will by the freezing screen. I hope this helps someone out!!!!
this is a pretty nice game for folks who like monster hunter, and the learning curve isn’t as harsh but
they ported the ps vita ver to pc instead of the ps4 ver, so we’re getting 30fps cap, ps vita’s graphics, framerate drops all the time and numerous bugs like:
– game crashes if you acquire 2 mitamas in 1 mission (like the 3rd mission in chapter 2 ), this can be fixed by getting the 1.01 patch
– right now, my material chest is stuck at 99 items capacity, even though i did 2 material quest, witch should’ve upgrade it to 350 ( not sure if this is another bug )
just a reminder for anybody who wanna give this a try, the pc ver isn’t worth playing, wait for the price to drop and get the ps4 ver if you can

Wasn’t it supposed to be vita and PS4 Exclusive? Well what ever. Now to play this game.
Getting the 1.0.2 update cracked would be awesome. It fixes the storage limit bug that caps it at 99, which is virtually impossible to play around later in the game.
Anyway it´s a piece of crap, it does not need a patch, it needs to be deleted from your pc. Horrid game.

Dude, I can’t Run the game. After installed the game, Copy “CODEX” content to the “C:\Program Files (x86)\TOUKIDEN Kiwami”, and I run the application, and it doesn’t work.
It’s appear the Icon, after few second, It will disappear. Who else having a problem same as me, please hit my comment.

im getting some massive frame drops all the way to 15fps, even in the lowest settings, is there a way to fix this
needs updates to current steam version, the fps drop every so often is forgivable, the broken materials chest is not. Not blaming you guys for that mind you, but patched version would be nice.

Another solution I found, put compatibility to window vista 2, it even fix the problem where you get 2 Mitama, or at least for me.
To anyone having problems with crashes and random freezes, lower the particle effects to the minimum. I managed to play crash free after that.
When i try to install The game it fails and in my desktop appears “isdone.dll” how can i install the game?

MATERIAL CHEST UPGRADE :
A solution have been found in order to increase the Storage chest / Armor chest / Weapon chest Limit by cheating.
It uses CheatEngine (so, you need to install it). the .ct file in this post http://forum.cheatengine.org/viewtopic.php?t=582457&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=30 (should be the 3rd page).
First, run the file with CheatEngine, launch the game (you musst be in the town), find the process in CheatEngine and activate the options (better tutorial on how to launch it is aviable at the 1rst page of the subject)

Did anyone have an issue where your character walk/run too fast like ninja??? I watch in youtube that the character walk/run normally…
If you’re having a game running too fast, it’s tied to your fps, either you forced 60fps by tweaking your ini or it’s because of gsync or maybe freesync, not sure about the later, disable it if you have it on,
should fix the problem
Same problem as Vanse 7. Copied everything to the gamefolder and if i start it the icon in the taskbar appears for a second and then closes again. Using Win7 64x
Found something interesting mind you I am not a pc expert. I was having extreme fps drops in the village between missions. I solved this by completely disabling Windows Search in services. Im a win 8 but this may help others who are having this problem. To disable win search completely go to start or win key depending and search for services. Once you find the services drop down locate Windows Search and access its properties where you should find an option to disable it entirely. Dont forget to reenable it when you are no longer needing it to play the game because disabling it severely limits windows search capabilities

this game is a very bad port of the PSVita, bug-ridden and crippled as hell, anyways…
for those having issues, try running the game as , or with plivileges (wirks fow Win 7 / 8 / 8.1
ALT+tab, then in the taskbar, secondary click, then Task Manager
in Task manager, click on detalis tab, there search for the Toudeki executable, secondary click on it
in the pop-up menu click in set affinity
a new window will open, untick all the checks and just leave it to 1U thread
it will work for some people who have some weird FPS drops, since the game isn’t well optimized for multi-threading
if you can get the update 1.01 or 1.02 apply it, those fix a ton of bugs
To those whose game crashes at launch. Add the game to your high performance processor. not sure for AMD but INVIDIA s can do this under INVIDIA control

any update patch for material chest bug???
I am having problems on startup. It opens for 2 seconds and then closes. There is not enough time to track down the process in task manager before it disappears from the list. I have also checked the Nvidia control for high performance processor settings, but my graphics card GTS250 does not have that setting. I would appreciate advice from this point on how to troubleshoot my game. Thank you in advance.

so im having an issue beating the flying oni. ive killed and completed the quest over 10 times, but when im at the screen showing the Miatama’s ive acquired, it crashes… Every.,.. damn….time…. anyone know how to fix?
Ive this strange issue whenever I run the game the screen is moved to the right side of my monitor and the colors are distorted. Ive the minimum requirements and other games like Dynasty Warriors 8 Empires run just fine.

Any chance that the updates will be posted? As many have said, there are a bunch of bugs that are left over. I doubt that they’ll ever life the 30 FPS, among other things, though.
It has a frame rate problem I check it up on google. The game’s fps is capped at 30 so anything less then that the game is in “slow-motion” especially in the village. During battle is not so bad. trying to find a way to fix it

For those that get Codex installer freeze – change Daemon tools to something else like WinCDEmu – that helps.
