you can downlaod episode 2 from telltalte server with this CODEX version “EP2 2.62GB” which its work FOR ME 😀
all Ep2 files ed to documents\The Walking Dead A New Frontier\Net folder. i then copied those files to Archives folder like all other TT games. loaded up game and played.

How to use save from season 2?
wow! thank you very much, i was soo looking forward to this.
something is really bothering me though, usually the sequels for the telltale series use the savegames of the previous seasons to adamt the game to your previous choces and since i’m going to have to use a different and more performing computer to play this title instead of the one i used for the previous seasons and spin offs, i’m going to need to move the savegames of the previous games to the new pc.
I’ve always been having trouble locating the files that hold the savegames of the CODEX telltale titles. Can you help me find it? i tried in the AppData\Roaming\Steam\CODEX but apparently the file i need is not there. Where do i need to look to find it?
Hey everyone. I have my save files from Walking Dead Season 2 perfectly in My Documents\Telltale Games – but they’re not being detected when I open New Frontier. Where do I move the save files to allow them to be imported?
They also mention creating a TellTale , but I can’t find a Season 2 that has the update that allows you to transfer your save to your . When I open my Season 2 because it’s not updated enough, it lets me view my saves but doesn’t have an “” button.
I played EP1 and restarted the game now it doesnt find my save.
the Codex map (folder) doesnt have the crack files its a empty folder
Change the name of your TWD season 2 save folder to “The Walking Dead Season Two” to import your save.

If u want play with your decisions from last season U can just start new game and then game will ask you for some questions about season 2 (about what u did). So u don’t need save files.

Change the name of TWD 2 save folder in Documents\Telltale Games from whatever name it is (the walking dead / the walking dead season 2 / the walking dead season 2 episode 1,2,3,4,5….) to “The Walking Dead Season Two” then TWD 3 will recognize the save file when you choose “continue your story”.

Works just fine, no errors (SO FAR, only checked till first save if it’s even working), huge thanks!
To all those that have problem with episode 2 not seeing the saves of episode 1 do the following
Copy all the contents from episode 2 folder
Paste them into episode 1 folder and overwrite
Rename the Game Folder into the name of your choosing like ” The walking dead Season 3″
Run the game once
Quit
Go into your documents and settings
Telltale Games Folder
Enter New Frontier episode 1 folder
Copy all your saves into the New frontier Folder that has been created from your merged game
Run the game from the merged folder and you will be able to see the saves from episode 1 and continue

the game wont start…i mean it did start but then it turns black for three second and then auto closed itself.
Any solution? Like do i need to mount it coz i run the setup immediately after extracting it.

here you can find “The Walking Dead A New Frontier Episode 1” folder and “The Walking Dead A New Frontier Episode 2” folder, copy the content of the first folder into the second,i just played it through, it works perfectly. Have fun !!!

the program and in the dxl program you have to have it exactly as the video. Check the ‘Force on’ , ‘Force WARP’, ‘Disable Feature Level Upgrade’, and choose 11_1 for feature limit, and click ‘Mute all messages’ then click apply then it’ll work.

THE ISSUE:
I have that save file problem like others above me. However I tried renaming the savefile folder with no luck. I’m supposed to go to /name/documents/telltale/TheWalkingDeadSeason2.
THE SUPPOSED SOLUTION:
The idea is to rename the folder from whatever it was to “The Walking Dead Season Two” and then TWD: A New Frontier would recognize the save file in the game.
MY RESULT:
That trick seems to have worked for some. But I haven’t had anyluck. I’ve tried renaming it different ways. Caps, no caps, 5000 different languages, tried klingon, binary, nothing….
Anyone know how to fix around?

Yes! Changing the folder name in Documents from “The Walking Dead – Season 2” To “The Walking Dead Season Two” with literally all the character by character helps get import all the saves up and until now. Thanks so much comments!!!
