I think that he is right, and here’s why. You get the mining laser at the start of the game and purely that weapon is simply the most effective because it doesn’t require ammo and is still capable to kill even the most nasties of the nasties enemies like any other high end weapons with the right perks. Finding ammo or crafting it for your other good weapons doesn’t worth for the extra range you’ll get compared to the mining laser. In short game mechanics suck from the start, it just takes a lot of time to notice that and become aware of it. The more you’ll play the more time you’ll waste. Fallout 3 is great, Skyrim is amazing, Fallout 4 is good and Starfield is dumpsterfire.
Worst optimized game, without the proper Bethesda formula (exploration of a great world map), with lots of missing QoL features what even No Man’s Sky has since day one, and which cannot run properly on a bloody high end 4090 rig, and you are calling him negative and Co?

Wow, it seems most of you missed my point. I’m not saying it’s a particularly good game. It is terribly flawed and not nearly as fun or creative as it could be. I’m saying that it’s a waste of time, and quite frankly, rather pathetic to complain about a game you hate on a piracy site while assuming everyone else should also hate it and reject future DLCs and QoL updates. There are plenty of people who would love to see this game improve and live up to it’s potential, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s not like any of us are actually encouraging or financially ing Bethesda in this forum.

Yes this game is a big piece of shit! Each side quest is an intro to a faction, once completed, there is nothing! The pirate’s life sucks, everything is done to prevent you from it! And even the Scarlet Fleet, the questline is also an intro, once you have proven yourself, nothing! Same with UC, same with trackers, same with ALL side quests!! The only thing “finished” is the main quest of “you’re too strong, we suck you, save us all”…
What about exploration? Nothing ! Everything is already inhabited, the ruins, caves, etc. are all the same, nothing to discover!
The bases to build? Only “useful” for mining and even then, it’s not profitable!
The research? Useless ! Just by looting you will quickly have so many crazy weapons that your modifications will not follow!
Talents? 80% are useless! Boost your ship skills to pilot a class C and it’s open bar!!
No difficulty, no real discovery…
As always, fingers crossed that the modding community saves the game instead of Bethesda…

I managed to change the language.
You must change the language by opening the “flt.ini”, which is inside the main directory, and change the language there.
If the file don’t let you save the changes, you must create a new “flt.ini” file. To do that, you just have to open a new .txt file in the notepad, copy the whole text from the original “flt.ini” file to this new one, and after that you can delete the original “flt.ini” and save the new file that you just created as “flt.ini” in order to replace the original one. By doing this, you should be able to change the text in it to set the language you want and save it.
