   Yeah this game works perfectly on win7 x64.
   btw: win7 rules!! 10 sucks and 8 is total dogshit

    is you smart enough then windows version isn’t a problem …
    win 10 and win 8 is far better then win 7…
    win 7 can’t understand the power of DX12..
    for those who has “Steam Initialization Error”
    just install (“” \Shadow Blade Reload\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2013 “”) vcredist_x64 /x32 .exe
    it’ll work 🙂

    Game work for me on Windows 7

    i think W10 has lot of prb
    but try install ”redistributables”

    – LAVFilters-0.62
    – vcredist 2012 (x86 or x64)
    – vcredist 2013 (x86 or x64)

    Was having steam initialization and had to install both vcredist x86 and x64 and now it’s working. If you are receiving it try to install both versions and hopefully you’ll have better luck.

    i fixed this by coping all files from included folder codex to the game installation folder (replace all)
    🙂 worked.
    however, i have installed vcredist_x86 & 64 so i am not sure if this is required,, but i believe everyone already did this 🙂
