yeah the GOG update would be awesome
hilarious story. had gog version other patch killed it. 2 hours ing rune version . 1 hour extracting it. 1.5 hours installing it. 15 minits ing rune patch. 1 hour installing rune patch .. launch game had to start new game to find save folder , get into game and now sit down this is the hilarious part. worthless fucking ukrainians didnt fix the constant crashes to desk top. 3 minits in crash. reload crash ,reload crash. fuck ukrainian assholes . thanks rune maybe one day the idiots will fix there fucking game.

You basically have a corrupted saved game. First disable automatic save game in options menu to avoid this to happen again. Then try to find some older save game that still works and continue from there.
Before the patch I used to have the same problem and this was the only solution.
I see only one braind ead poor asshole here and its u. Fix ur fucking pc or dont use pc at all monkey, no crashes before and after patch anywhere on 4 different pc, from low end to hight end ones.

you dont need 138 gb to install the update, it overrides the previous data and the patch is only 13.5 gb
