I’ve always been into mining and smithing. I sinking probably thousands of hours into Runescape (back when it was still 2D). I thought I could make my own wealth and become rich, by mining and smithing, in order to to get to level 99, and be able to craft Rune armor and weapons…
I only made it to level 88 mining and 68 smithing.
I tried employing autobots, that would record and playback loops of the keys and/or mouse movements and clicks. After setting it on a loop and then going to bed, I would wake up in the morning to find myself either in the wilderness, stuck in some building, at the edge of the world, or logged off and my mouse continuing the loop of movements and clicks, while somehow getting out of the game and doing random things on my desktop or browser… Probably why I didn’t get up to 99, but looking back, I’m sorry I put so much time into that game, when I could have been doing other things…
logi wan, runescape !! respect ! i sank many hours into it as well. i the crappy introduction in the dungeons. ah the memories
