OK, I’ll bite. I know it’s almost certainly going to suck major ass but I can’t help myself with these space sims.
Why can’t a top developer take the Orbiter series as a baseline and really expand on it using all the tools at a professional development house’s disposal?
Just make a niche simulator that’s likely to bomb in the sales charts and that takes decades to build from scratch to a true state of completion. Is that too much to ask?
@TheGreatHadoken Have you tried Kerbal Space Program? The mod community is huge and the simulator makes you build everything you want to use and figure out how to launch it and get it to where you want it. I had been looking for a good sim for a long time. it is the most accurate sim, as far as physics goes and everything else, that I have ever played. Try it with the FAR mod if the built in physics are not real enough for you.
