Dont mess with the texture pool
In the video settings
And go delete the folder c/s/name of your pc/saved games/machine games/TheGreatCircle/base/TheGreatCircleConfig.local
And all that folder……..then start the game again and it”s ok

I lost like 50% FPS after update 😛 It works fine on Supreme Settings 100+ fps, now I had 40 fps xD Had to downgrade version
I believe this update provided a performance improvement in the game.
The game refuses to work even with this update, it launches, shows all the little Intro videos then just sits there with a black screen, left it for over an hour just in case but nothing happened. tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling but it refuses to work. It’s the biggest bug-ridden pile of shit ever and before anyone says anything I’m trying to run this on an asus rog x570 plus motherboard, ryzen 7 5800x, rtx 4070 ti GPU, 32gb corsair Dominator memory @3600mhz.

The answer is no because there is no “r”tx 1060. You have a “g”tx.
@ Jou. First, there is no RTX 1060. Its a GTX 1060. And the game wont work without an RTX card. Raytracing is required. So the answer is NO!

Installtime from rune-based FP-Release on ssd = 1h10minutes.
Most Options on High an the Game is playable in Full HD with average 50 FPS.

Anyone playing with 4070? This shit runs at 40 fps with medium/high settings and COLLAPSES if i turn raytracing on.
The Games Machine reviewed this with 4070 all maxed at 120 fps.
