I ran the update. Launcher wont work now and the game still says its Beta – no campaign.

Ok… I install it, copy the contents of the Crack folder and run the game, never see the hotfix or some like that. Just the .iso file and the read me. The game runs nice, but campaign does not appear in the menu when I run from the Homeworld remastered icon. And when I try to run from the classic Homeworld icon says “content are not ed on Steam”
Someone knows what I do wrong????

And I already it more then twice already. Cant seem to install this software.
There seems to be a lot of plebs here that don’t know how to navigate web pages, or install a game, or open/mount ISO’s. Google is your friend.
The original release lacked a working campaign. I’m in the process of grabbing the hotfix, which I will suspect fix the issue. Thanks.

How do I launch the HW1 campaign. I can see it in the Mods menu but not getting how to launch it
I have a problem with the cutscenes, the game runs perfect, but the intro cutscenes (even the gearbox logo) are too damn slow, like in slow motion, anyone has the same problem?
For me the cutscenes stutter badly. but the rest of the game runs as expected.

The 0xc000007b issue can easily be fixed while running the following file:

It worked for me in any case, and it only takes like 5-10 minutes.
The remastered versions work perfectly on win 8.1 -64 as does HW 1 original version. HW 2 original
starts but ctd after a few seconds. No big issue for me though. Thank you so much
For people with istrative access / no campaign problems
Install the vanilla game, copy – paste the crack and go to the install folder. There right click on the Launcher and Run as under the Compatibility tab.
If you run the game, skirmish should only be available.
Get the 1.22 update from the section, copy-paste everything in the install folder, copy – paste the crack BUT NOT THE SOLE LAUNCHER ICON.
Everything should be OK now.

If you want to access the Multiplayer beta do this:
1.Find HomeworldRM.exe and create a shortcut on desktop.
2.Go to the shortcut properties and add this to the target “-modcompatibility.big -mpbeta” without quotes and after the existing quotes in field.
not sure of this still works after updates.

Hi… I have Avast antivirus, ed the game and there are 4 trojan viruses on the .exe files… So I can’t play either of the games. Just thought I would let you know…
First thing all skidrow games are detected as virus.Reason why cuz he change program to make ur game free.That is ilegal so any antivirus will detect it as virus and block it.What u need to do is disable anti virus restore quarantine files or deleted than play.Next thing is when u extract game copy all cracks from all files and put in each of them all cracks.Than u start game from this.HOMEWORLDRM.
There is English version of game.Icon on ur monitor is for steam multiplayer.Basicly when u crack like 4 folders put crack as it says each folder with name.Than find this folder and start single player game.So all works no virus and skidrow make ur life beter not worst.THANK YOU SKIDROW.Sorry for to big replay but i try say all about it.Keep up ur good work SKIDROW 🙂
