Guys here is FIX if you game doesn’t start when you click “NEW GAME”
create shortcut for the hl2.exe and add command line parameter -game hl2rtx
Lets say your game is in c:\games\Half-Life 2 RTX, create shortcut c:\games\Half-Life 2 RTX\hl2.exe on your desktop, right mouse click, Properties, Target:
“c:\games\Half-Life 2 RTX” -game hl2rtx
Run game from this shortcut and it will load HL2RTX mod, you will see different background image in the main menu, press New game
There will be only two level, click Start new game and you will play RTX levels.
Or
use this Custom .bat launcher, i creat it to force game to start with commande above directly without need of creating shortcut…etc, extract .bat file inside game folder (where hl2.exe located) and run it.
