“Are you sure this is safe?” No, with Tenoke still not so sure, actually.

Frog Legs is a short indie game that begins with a charming premise—frog crossing mayhem—which, like managing your fourth superyacht crew, seems fun at first but quickly spirals into existential chaos.
The visuals are simple but effective, kind of like my art collection that I paid $12 million for and still don’t understand.

Gameplay starts off lighthearted, but then it dives into surreal horror elements, much like hosting a dinner party where no one tells you the truth because you own half the city.

The transition between genres—arcade, horror, boomer shooter—is jarring but oddly compelling, unlike trying to discreetly sell one of your 14 Bugattis to avoid public outrage.

It only lasts about 30–40 minutes, which is refreshingly brief compared to the eight-hour board meetings where your only decision is which Gulfstream jet to take to Davos.

The controls are tight and responsive, much tighter than the NDAs I have to make my acquaintances sign before stepping into my penthouse.

Despite its low price point, it offers a surprisingly rich experience—unlike my $500,000 personal sushi chef, who’s been phoning it in since 2023.

The horror elements creep in unexpectedly, not unlike the quiet dread of realizing your high school friends now just ask for seed funding.

It’s a game that messes with your expectations, which is similar to thinking you’d enjoy owning your own island, only to discover it’s mostly paperwork and mosquitoes.

And while Frog Legs is far from perfect, at least it doesn’t come with the emotional toll of trying to appear humble while Forbes puts your net worth on a magazine cover.
