Don’t let it get you down, Dj. This is actually a good sign. You might not realize that the people who are torrenting your game aren’t in your target audience, anyway. Most of the pirate audience wouldn’t have purchased the game anyway. Now, you have the extra chance to turn theft into sales. Assuming your game is decent, some minority of the pirates (sales you didn’t have to begin with) will convert to a paid customer in order to ensure updates/content for the game they enjoy. Most pirates use torrented games like we used to use demo disks, back in the day.
The important thing to keep in mind, is that *you never had those sales, to begin with!*

I started the game once, i exitted the game, but the next day this appeared:
Fortresscraft requires steam for playing.
Pleas start steam and restart Fortresscraft Evolved.

For everyone with Steam problem just reinstall the game and click the box(check) “Copy contents of PLAZA directory to installdir” this will solved the problem 🙂

i using tise only like “demo” versiosn.. if i like what i see i will bought it whit all the updates

Just to let you know DjArcas, if you are still reading this … I did the game from here. Tried it. Liked it a lot. Bought two legit copies, for me and my friend. So – yeah – sites and groups like this DO help game developers. Without finding it here, I would never tried it and bought it. Good work on the game though …

From all Gamers. Maybe add a demo option to your game on Steam. This will allow gamers to try your game and demo it. I tend to buy games that have demo because I can then go about trying the game for free for a couple of hours then buy it if i feel the game meets my needs. I have seen a lot of lets play on your game. I tend to play it for a few hours then tomorrow purchase it if i feel its good. As tomorrow is my Bday so want something good. if this is anything like i think it will be then you have a future customer.
DJ, the above statement holds very true. I myself would love to try out games before I buy them. I have been burned in the past at a prospect of a good game but never made it out of Early Access (Poster child for bad EA games – DayZ). So for now I see if I can’t torrent a game to try it out, if I like it I buy it.
