Curious if anyone is able to give me insight on the “this isn’t working” comments. The last time I played this offline version was 12.12 when they released the first part of the Lighthouse map. I was going to this but just wondering if the new updates actually don’t work in some way or is it just the usual bitching from people on a pirate site who like to say everything sucks. Any comment from someone who actually likes and plays the game would help(:
I think it’s mostly from people who can’t figure out how to get it to run on their PC. That or “True” diehard Tarkov players who don’t like to see people playing a game for free that they themselves have payed a lot of money for. I’ve played since the “Streets” release (very new I know) but I’ve upgraded every update since and never had an issue. So far I’ve just been able to overwrite a few old files and the new version works just fine. I had always been intrigued by Tarkov but absolutely HATED the multiplayer aspect of it. Offline single player against AI, for me, is the perfect sweetspot. The fact you can further “mod” it is just a cherry on top.
Hell yeah thank you for the insight. I agree I think it’s a mix of the people you mention and if you say it’s still running as good as the 12.12 update that was the most recent I ran before it sounds to be good to go. And yeah I love the game with the added mods you can get for the offline version. I’m not at all a fan of the multiplayer aspect and hearing the same bullshit of “get good” doesn’t really change the fact that the idea of it is generally unappealing to me. Us men who have jobs and like to chill at home with some fun gameplay don’t have time for that sweaty, edge of your seat bullshit where you’ve gotta invest half your life into a single game for whatever weird bragging rights. Get me in the action with some SPT mods that makes the AI fun and lets me play with all the advanced equipment attachments like thermal scopes and it’s definitely a fun time for me haha
Also for anyone getting the “game not installed” error that I getting a year ago, I know one of the s on here has the fix linked in the game details/comments. Just a simple double click on that file and every update I ed after that worked just fine

You don’t need to get this game from this site. You can get the actual client, and spt-aki software from the developer site.
game works man, it’s just there are too many people who either can’t follow the damn instructions or just want to ruin this site and fun for others, I didn’t try this version yet but I tried many other releases of this and other games on which some people commented that it sucks but it actually did work. have a nice day )

I thinks its mainly people who can’t get it installed or to run properly on PC. They’re unable to figure out the install process, get frustrated, and complain it doesn’t work. That or “true” diehard Tarkov players/fans who don’t like the fact that others are playing for free what they themselves have spent money on. I’ve been playing since the “Streets” release (Quite new I know) and have upgraded each time a release drops without issue. Overwrite a few files, make some configuration changes if necessary and good to go. Haven’t even had to “wipe” or start a new profile/game, everything carries over. I’d always been intrigued by EFT but absolutely HATED the multiplayer aspect of it. I simply don’t have the time or skill necessary to become proficient enough at the extremely difficult and challenging multiplayer aspect to become good enough to enjoy it. The single player, against AI, was the perfect sweet spot. The fact that it can be further “modded” is just the cherry on top.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR THOSE WHOS GAME HAS THIS ERROR “Tarkov isnt installed”
After ing, right click on Escape.from.Tarkov.v0.13.0.4.22617-P2P folder
go into properties and uncheck the option “read only” for all folders and subfolders.
Guys, Tarkov isnt properly installed when you unpack and run the game via the Aki launcher.
You need to trick the launcher to think tarkov is installed. Here the solution:
1. Create a directory somewhere on your PC. For simplicity I will call this C:\by
2. Star regedit
3. navigate to Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
4. Right click on the Uninstall folder and create a new key with the name: EscapeFromTarkov
5. Select the new folder and right click on the right side and create a new string value with the name: UninstallString
6. Double click onthat new string and enter the value of your by folder directory and \Uninstall.exe at the end.
Example: C:\by\Uninstall.exe => this is for the 1st anti-pirate check in the launcher.exe
7.Youre done with regedit, so close it.
8. the Uninstall files:

NOTA IMPORTANTE PARA QUEM O JOGO ESTÁ COM ESSE ERRO “Tarkov não está instalado”
Após o , clique com o botão direito na pasta Escape.from.Tarkov.v0.13.0.4.22617-P2P
vá em propriedades e desmarque a opção “somente leitura” para todas as pastas e subpastas.
Pessoal, o Tarkov não está instalado corretamente quando você descompacta e executa o jogo pelo inicializador Aki.
Você precisa enganar o iniciador para pensar que o tarkov está instalado. Aqui a solução:
1. Crie um diretório em algum lugar do seu PC. Para simplificar, colocarei o nome na pasta de by – C:\by
2. abra o regedit, windows+r e digite regedit.exe
3. navegue até Computador\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
4. Clique com o botão direito na pasta Uninstall e crie uma nova chave com o nome: EscapeFromTarkov
5. Selecione a nova pasta e clique com o botão direito no lado direito e crie um novo valor de string com o nome: UninstallString
6. Clique duas vezes nessa nova string e digite o valor do diretório da pasta by e \Uninstall.exe no final.
Exemplo: C:\by\Uninstall.exe => isto é para a 1ª verificação antipirata no launcher.exe
7. Você concluiu o regedit, então feche-o.
8. Baixe os arquivos fixer:

Mesmo fazendo esse o a o, tudo funciona até eu clicar em “Launch Game”. Após isso, o botão fica escuro mas o launcher não minimiza como de costume para o jogo iniciar. Apenas o botão que escurece mas a tela do launcher continua ali e o jogo não inicia.
Voce precisa clicar com o botao direito na pasta raiz do jogo, ir em propriedade e desmarcar a opcão somente leitura

This works 100%.
You just need to fiddle with the Registry uninstall settings to remove both of the uninstall.exe ‘s if you followed Wagners instructions, as well as the instructions that comes with the “fixer” zip.
You have to registry the uninstall command on them both times, unless you’re able to apply both (which I don’t know how to do), till both files are removed.

Playing this made me buy the game. Best game ever period. Just add some mods to suit your style or challenge. To those who cant get it to work, just giveup you are too slow to be here anyways, PUSSY
For sure fix the 1Fichier link to go back to the 1Fichier page. That new shit shows 180hrs to without the pay version and when I tried to it jumped to my FDM extension, immediately errored out to a generic windows prompt, then when I hit immediately errored out of that and hit my “60 minute limit” for ing on that site so I couldn’t try it again. Bullshit site 100%. 1Fichier is literally the only virus free, totally stable, dependable and FAST site I use for any games on here.

2) run patcher.exe

Try this first after ing the game, right click the main folder of the game, properties, untick read-only apply to all folders and files ok
Already inside the game appears an error message “Invaled URI: The hostname could not be parsed.” … the game quit

After yellow “Start Game” button pops up “Escape from Tarkov isn’t installed on your computer. Please buy a copy of the game and the developers!”.
DANG IT MINE JUST STAYS ON THE MAIN SCREEN. IT DOESNT LOAD IN TO THE GAME.
The game doesn’t load past 57% it just starts to show ”Not Responding” and doesn’t load further even after waiting for 20min+
