This patch works for game version of AT LEAST 1.03.not ONLY FOR 1.03. I think that’s where the confusion comes from. They should’ve worded it a little bit differently.
If I buy the game, will the save file not be corrupted?

Thanks skid, been checking this site all week last week because I had a feeling there would be a new patch soon. After refreshing thr page for a week, it’s finally here. I was right, a new patch was on the way.
I’m hearing some people’s game started crashing in various places after this patch, but that is for the legit version on steam. Can anyone confirm this update is working and game is stable? Thanks guys, I’ll have to dl this myself later tonight.

Hello, guys. I updated my game from 1.04 to 1.05. The game works well, but I lost my save from previously version because I was using FLT crack. Now that the game runs as CODEX crack, the save files are located somewhere else than appdata folder. I know that CODEX saves are located in s/public/documents, but the folders with numbers are empty, there is no save file at all, even if the game is running with a old save file I played before FLT crack. What can I do?
The save should be in c/name/appdata/roaming/elden ring, try that folder.
It’s always a good idea to have a few saves backed up, just in case. Always good to have a backup.
About this update – works like a charm, thank you skidrow. Updated my game last night, works very well.

How to install this from v1.04? it keeps getting error directory message
it has to go in the folder above the folder with the game.exe
aka the folder u were in, b4 u clicked to get to the folder that contained the exe

para cambiar el idioma del juego, entra en la carpeta Game, luego busca el archivo steam_emu, abrelo con el bloc de notas, busca la fila que pone language=english y cambia english por el idioma que quieras siempre y cuando el juego soporte ese idioma.

whenever I run the .bat file in the game’s root directory, all 5 files fail to extract
and yes, I copied the files into the correct directory (folder), and I’ve tried to re the archive

for anyone who cant upgrade from 1.03.2. the description is wrong. you need 1.04.1
