why only update for 1.03.2 to 1.04 INSTEAD of 1.03.3 to 1,04 ??
Game now shows a white screen for me. I suppose it’s because my game was 1.03.3 when this update goes from 1.03.2 to 1.04? I just wish these updates had a text file with them to tell us newbs how to update this thing

That’s what the installer says when you boot up thr update application itself. He just write it out for all of us to see. Thr update itself states this

also have plenty of free space. total update took 4-5 mins, but after that v1.0.4 is working all fine for me

Next, are you using the deluxe version of elden ring or thr PLAZA release? I have the plaza relase, that I’ve been patching manually with the – CS updates.
Why the hell is this not for 1.03.3?
it does not even work for 1.03.2 as usuel white screen and you need to the full game
i rather want a simple replacer for the files, i really don’t trust an update that needs more than 2GB just to update.
Wait, guys, I just ed, the latest update before this one, the 1.03.3 one, was just a calibration update. It didn’t actually change the version, just the calibration.
So even if you have 1.03.3, your game version is still 1.03.2, just calibration 1.03.3.
So this update should work for us. As long as your game version is 1.03.2
I had 1.03.3 deluxe edition P2P.although it said this is for 1.03.2 deluxe edition updated and works fine here.when u load the game v1.4 bottom right,calabration v1.04.1.all good.installed on c drive,not running the game as fyi
Guys, i just realized something, the last update before this was the 1,03,3 CALIBRATIONS update, it only changed the calibration version, not the actual game version.
For those of you that did the 1,03.3 update, take a look in the bottom left corner of the main menu, it will say game VERSION 1.03.02 CALIBRATION version 1.03.3, so technically we are running version 1.03.2, just the calibration is 1.03.3
So this update should work for those of us that have our games fully updated becuase the version is STILL 1.03.2, take a look for yourselves if youd like.
The part that worries me is that there is no crack included with this update, usually there is som esort of crack file you need to copy over to prevent white sceen and actually let you play the game, im assuming thats why everyone is getting whitesceened.
Also, when ou open the update application, it asks where to install, do you chooose where you already have elden ring installed to?

I updated all of the previous ones until 1.03 by just running update without applying crack after and it worked. If I applied crack I got white screen. Will have to try the rest to see of it still works. Even after white screen I uninstalled and installed and save file still worked.
guys, the previous 1.03.3 update only changed the calibration version, not the actual game version itself. Take a look for yourself, boot up your game and take a look at the bottom right corner, it should say game version 1.03.2 CALIBRATION 1.03.3
Meaning this is, in fact, for the version of the game we have. But usually, when you update your game, youre supposed to have a crack to copy and paste, and here there is none included.

But as long as you installed update 1.03.3, it only changes the calibration version, not the gam version, so in theory this update should work.

Instal the patch on the elden ring folder
wait until it finish its take 10-20 minutes depend on your gear
and check the file after updating

For anyone wondering: Yes! This does work for 1.03.3 as well. At least it does if you got P2P’s version of 1.03.3 prior. It installed without an issue for me, all files were checked as ok upon checking and it works just fine when booting the game.
There is no such thing as game version 1.03.3. Instead, it changed the calibration to 1.03.3.
Basically, after applying that 1.03.3 update, your game version reads as follows – game VERSION 1.03.2, CALIBRATION 1.03.3
That’s where all the confusion came from, I tried to clear it up in my comments on here.
Basically, this update is in fact for all of us, even those that updated to the calibration 1.03.3

OK guys, so I took a chance and am installing the update now.
I have the plaza version that I manually updated this whole time with the – CS updates, the ones with batch files.
Does this p2p update work for the plaza release as well or do you need to have the deluxe edition for this update to work?
I will post what happened when it’s done. Fingers crossed that it works for me. I chose the elden ring folder, NOT the game folder for installation. Have plenty of free space left too. Let’s see what happens. But if someone could answer that would be great. Does this update work for plaza release? Anybody get this to work with the plaza relase and NOT the deluxe version? Thanks

OK guys, I can confirm, this update works like a charm!! You need to install it in your elden ring folder, NOT game folder.
Wait for installation to finish, then validate the files. It will take a while but just let it do its thing. No crack needed, the game will run just fine.

worked fine for me. was hesitant so I made a copy of the install folder, especially since some were saying it borked their install, and I’m on 1.3.3 (but as others said that’s just the calibration version so it shouldn’t matter). all good though, works likes a charm. it’s an elamigos installer for everyone wondering btw

Hell, if I could’ve found the CS version of the 1.04 update, I would’ve probably used that instead. But this version of the update works fine, it worked for me. I used this p2p version to update my game to 1.04 and it worked like a charm
After it was done, I did the file , waited a while, everything was OK. Then booted up the game and it worked. No need to copy any crack or anything, it worked fine after the update.
White screen is caused by your PC and not any update or the game itself.
Possible culprits:
1. If you got RiviaTuner or MSI Afterburner, then turn it off because anti-cheat conflicts with those two hence the white screen.
2. Your DX12 doesn’t work as intended. Try deleting DX cache if this ends up being the case.
3. Make sure your GPU is up to date.
4. Your specs aren’t meant for this game in the first place.
I saw, alot of ppl have still issues, with frames drops, and invisible enemies, and other things, go to buy a new, machine, your shitty pc is only a huge piece of sh8t garbage, this game run like charm, if you have a good pc, not if you have a sh7t of shitty componets, go away
First, when I’m installing using this updater, the updater is taking too long to finalizing the installation so I just spam clicked on the updater and then the updater is not responding. I restarted my laptop, and then I cannot open Elden Ring anymore, only shows white screen. After that, I try to be patient, so I leave my laptop and let the updater finalizing the installation for like 20 minutes (Potato Spec), and then it finish. I check the files and start the game and finally it’s working. No missing files, games run like a charm as intended.
So if you got the white screen, try reinstalling and be patient, don’t do anything, just let it finish.
Exactly, you need to let the updater finish updating. It ‘looks’ like it gets ‘stuck” on the finalizing update part, but its not stuck in fact, its just working. It takes time to finalize, between 10-20 mins. while its updating, go do something else. leave your pc alone and do not spam anything and do not try to close it before it finishes. let it finish on its own, it wont takelonger than 20 mins.
After this update finishes and finalizes, it will give you the option to your game files, to be doubly sure it worked fine. It will run a check of about 64 different files to make sure they are all intact. This will also take time, and it will show you two green bars, one to show you the progress for the file its currently checking, the second shows the progress of the total check. Let that run its course as well, do not close it early.
After its done, and when the file intergrity shows you that all files are “OK”, then you close out the updater. That should lead to your game updating correctly and actually starting when you open it again.
the worst thing you can possibly do is close out an updater before it finishes updating on its own. That could brick the entire game and force you to have to reinstall all from scratch. Glad you were able to fix it by updating it again, sometimes you dont get so lucky.
This update worked like a charm for me, and ive been using the -CS updates previously, the ones with the batch files. Surprisingly, with this specific update, you dont even need to copy over a crack after its done…it just works.
To everyone who complains about the white screen: Turn off your internet and run the game offline. If the game runs then the issue is anti-cheat conflicting with some program you might have. Disable whatever program is conflicting with it and/or if you can’t find a program conflicting with it then simply a mod to toggle anti-cheat off and run the game through an offline launcher.
If the white screen issue still persists when you run the game offline then your PC/laptop simply isn’t meant for this game. System requirements exist for a reason. Especially when the game isn’t perfectly optimized and has a lot of bugs. You can’t just “make it work” if your specs don’t meet all of the game’s requirements.
Serious? If the white screen persist … you’re pclapstop insn’t meant for this game …. seriously … that’s wath you think on a game already running after 4 update. Yeah, sure, i’m so cofident with you’re thinking of how work informatic!! Sure!!

how do i use my ps4 controler to play on this ?
the white screen is bcuz the pc/laptop domt have the requirements for the game (happen to myself), u need to look for a fix in the internet, i found it and it works fine (i mean, smotimes the foes dont show but u can see their health bar xDDDD)
