I paid for this Doom remake game some weeks ago, and I must it the first few levels were really good. But the second half of this game is kinda boring and repetative, and all levels are boring and without any special points of interest and not worth a second playthrough.

I opted for this version by virtue of this being the first to be fully ed. Took almost 2 hours to install onto my SSD drive but it works like a dream, has a Vulkan API version although the OpenGL4.5 seems to run slightly better on my system. Haven’t tried the other icon yet, I guess it’s a DirectX version.
Using a 4GB GDDR5 Nvidia GTX960 GPU, i5 6500 Intel Skylake processor and 16GB DDR4 RAM running the game off of my SSD drive. I wasn’t expecting much in the way of performance but I’m delighted to say I’m running absolutely maxed out graphics (apart from a couple of above ultra options which are for cards with presumeably 8GB VRAM) at a rock solid, vsynced 60fps at 1440p, reduced to 78% full resolution, which I guess is somewhere around 1300p or something. Far, far better than I was expecting though the SSD drive may for some of the reason. Performance is so good, in fact, that I can’t help but wonder if the game lost some graphics fidelity in the repack or something. However, the blurb says there was absolutely no loss to graphics and I believe them; this Doom repack looks very good indeed. Since I have an Nvidia card it may run even better if there’s a DirectX version, which I’m about to check on now.
I have no problem whatsoever in recommending this if you fancy saving a bit of space on the hard drive.
What is the difference of this 38GB to 60GB?
PS: That if any difference is clear!

I doubt the repack has inferior graphics to the “full” version in any way. Doom 4 (I refuse to call it simply “Doom”) has been widely praised as being a very well optimized game.
It’s also worth noting that the Denuvo protection is cracked and disabled together with all the overhead it brings – all Denuvo cracked games probably have lower system requirements than the legit versions.
So it’s no surprise at all that you can run it 1440p@60fps with maxed out settings on a i5 6500 + GTX 960. But it is impressive of course, shows how well optimized the game really is.
Too bad I don’t have much expectations about the gameplay itself. I’ve heard it plays more like Serious Sam than classic Doom, and from the gameplay videos I’ve watched I tend to agree.

Yes, I noticed Denuvo was cracked and the accompanying overhead reduced or eliminated. Incidentally, I can’t QUITE get 1440p@60, it’s one of those where you set it to 1440, but then reduce it down in scale by a certain amount, it ended up somewhere around 1250-1300p. If I went for the full 1440 I got 48fps on average. Still very good but I’ll take the full 60 with a lower resolution almost every time. 🙂

While installing the game it appears a bitcoin miner is also running, U load is through the roof and i have duplicate processes.
I’m suspecting this due to a reddit thread about the fitgirl GTA V repack stating that the installer for GTA also ran a miner & the fact that unpacking takes a unusual amount of time.

I am able to play doom 4 in high setting. it giving me 55-60 fps in every level but some time after starting the game the same level giving me 1-10 fps and after some restart it fix. I waited to play this game for long time and when finally I have it the annoying fps problem taking all the fun of the game and there are no solution of this specific problem or I could not find any,. The only solution they are giving is to lower the graphic settings but my card can run the game smoothly in high settings and I do not want to low anything, So if there are any solution or any patch or link, anything. Please Help..
In he process of installing this, but i see no one is mentioning this one VBS:Bicololo-CE, so im not bullshiting, be aware
the game runs, it takes an hour or two depending on the machine to install, but as i stated be aware of the shady thingy

This actually works (unlike the previous Steam “by” versions). It took me like 22 hours to via torrent, and another 2/3 hours to install (40 GB , 60gb install I think) , now let´s see if this game lives up to the expectations .. GG

y version come with voices and you choose who lenguaje you want. in this version im not listen the voices in the game…you can read the subtitles, and install one lenguaje, you choise in the instalation

Works well, ed overnight. I’ve had nothing occur in my game that shouldn’t. Run the game at a swift, screen-tearing rate. No sound issues, don’t know what’s up. Probably a client-side issue.

You can block the bitcoin miner while installing (easiest way is to disable your internet connection) …btw … Is it going to cause problems afterwards?
