   @Beta: you need to open SmartSteamEmu.(with word or something else), scroll a little bit down and change language from russia to what ever you want, worked with german for me. I hope my bad english is enough to explain it and i help´t you 😉

   game crashes in forest level. I’m just dying suddenly and it throws me on the map, where everything is locked
   I can’t do anything, just alt+f4

   the game locks up at random times, i think the problem is this “Set rich presence, key=status, value=Map” from the log file. can anyone please tell me how to fix this, it makes me repeat levels over 5-30 times. Oh to change the language edit the SmartSteamEmu.ini file and replace russian with english

    Game works fine it crashes due to anti-piracy system from the net. Just open ur Firewall program and block any outbound connection from castle.exe.

    Castle Crashers 2.5 has protection of steam emulation, like grim dawn on early access, gotta find the triggers and patch them, thats why character dies and screen locks all levels.

    Is it possible to play with more than two people? I tried with playing with 3 people and the third person couldn’t . P3 and above could not . The error was “Game is no longer available”

    for the lock and those crashes just turn off your internet then you can see no crashes

    for simple local play just disconnect the internet cable and play … worked for me although it’s not the best solution .. but handy in the mean time…. and by the way how to block out bound connections to “castle.exe” from the windows firewall .. is that even possible ?

    To change language go to the SmartSteamEmu configuration file, scroll down until you see
    ” Language = russian ” or whatever language it is for you, was in russian for me.

    and Change to ” Language = english ” .

    i’m not sure what other languages you can change to, but i guess you could try your native language if you want ^^
