Whenever I click on “race” in-game it launches steam… how do I get the game to work?
When I press start, the game returns to the menu instead to load the track.

The torrent seems to be corrupted. None of the RAR file open. Any ideas what could be the problem – I’ve rechecked the torrent files 5 times and it says 100% completed.
Nevermind……old version of winRAR couldn’t cut the mustard!!!
Try o edit assetto_corsa.ini in assettocorsa\system\cfg changing

For people that steam open when click RACE, install crack by CODEX. Search this crack in google.

update 1.3.4 already release by 3DM no more crash..a lot fix ;).. google it!
i cant click race because the steam opens…HEEEEELPP
make sure “force 32bit” is checked in the general options tab as well as “post processing” this helped me get ed the “not being able to start engine” part. also

also delete the assetto corsa folder in your “my documents” folder……..this will delete any save games…not that you had any if you could not start the racing part of the game
Just to add that this took me 20 minutes of google time to sort out and putting some reading time into some forums……I am sure you all have access to google…..
great sim….works in 1080p on my old 2012 laptop with a amd a8 3530mx 1.9ghz clocked to 2.8ghz and fused with a amd hd6620g 512mb gpu….old hardware though plays games.
hi to get this working, i put it in force 32 bit mode, to get it to run in 64bit mode i had to install the codex crack along with the 1.3.6 update which can be had from the link which dee posted.
