    this game is trash, its a fan made pile of shit full of mashed together assets from the first two games and some shitty unity assets that look like they were made by a two year old, the level design makes no sense with dead ends and wierd loops and some levels that are like a labrinth made by an autistic turd. this is a blatent cash grab and should be boycotted, not set up to on what untill now i believed to be the fairest site for gamers on the internet. i use this sight to test games before buying because of the shity way tripple A companies do buisness, but now i see that “indie” developers are doing shit like this and everyone is bending over backwards to lick their asshole like this is disturbing and a trend i see leading to disaster for gaming as a whole, shame on you.

    well,original Half Life is “that kind” of the game
    which done a thing that never happen in this earth before
    so it went huge famous after game release very fast
    similar example will be Metal Gear Solid for it’s movie like cutscenes

    back in old days,most FPS genre are like DOOM,QUAKE or Duke Nukem
    which only for tons killing without any friendly NPC talking to player
    and storyline are almost nonexistent
    also,for some reason you always alone,and dark color everywhere
    (you can go check older games,most bright color games came from nintendo)
    Half Life break all that design limit,break all player mind
    but that was 22 years ago
    original Half Life are way too outdated by today standard
    about this remake,well it’s not really that big of hit for the gaming industry like original dose
    because,it just remake,and not made by the valve team,WAY TOO LONG development time cost
    it didn’t add any “mind blowing” new design
    still,it’s a good remake that make the Half Life more suitable for nowdays
    which lazy valve team can never be done
    most people who love this game has experience for the original
    knowing that huge improvement for the graphic,gameplay can make this game more enjoyable

    this whole games is made by Half Life fanboys which original meant to be a free mod for Half Life2

    (that’s also one of the reason some fan hate this game
    think they stealing legendary game idea to make extra money)

    cuz steam just way too profit for valve,and that turn them into fully laziness

    (valve can earn 30% money of every single games total sale by doing almost nothing)

    and since valve never willing to make a remake themself
    (we all know how Half Life:Source look like..)
    at least they fully open Half Life license and let the fans do their job
    well it’s one of the few right thing they do,still very lazy though

    This game is well worth the buy. It is a great remake by people that loved the original and rightfully thought it needed some more TLC. This game is not a remaster as in updated graphics, but a full rework of the original with the upping the level design and the enemies, and a full xen level. This is a level that was just a rushjob in the original, and now got it’s rightfull attention.

    This is the best shooter, from the good old days. It has great climate, interesting level design and timeless idea behind.
    I bought it back in 2017 and rejoiced when they went out of Early Access.
    I was playing it 20 mins ago., but arrived at Blast Pit and I want my girlfriend to witness the Tentacle boss. I played HL1 when I was 13 and there was no pure FPS that managed to captivate me more than HL did.

    I finished HL1 about 3 times and now Im doing like 7th approach to Black Mesa (I lost my saves few times when then made new version on early access) and finished it 3 times already.

    I will play it many times more, It was money well spent. I know no one will probably buy it but still, I recommend to just see it, to know whats what.

    This game is legendary, this is why Steam exists and why FPS look like they look today.

    i have a problem. i can t copy the codex64.dll file to the game it tells me that i need permission from everyone. the dll or the folder have no security tab to overwrite. how to copy that crack to the game?

    Works perfectly even with maxed “not ed” graphic settings (i have rx470). Kinda easy, you can just rush everything, but still cool!
