Can I start this version in VR?

I can’t get this working in VR. What am I doing wrong? It will only lauch on the monitor and there’s no option in the menu to switch to VR mode.

How do we change the codex name? I can’t seem to find a file that has it.
Please can someone step by step explain how I can launch it into VR mode on Rift S, do not unerstand VR parameter/create shortcut and I’m normally quite clued up

@Riley – usually in the game folder go type .ini in the search box and it shoudl give you a configuration file which then has the name where you can change it. MAY be different in this as i have not tried this game, but normally that is how i found it in other codex games.

First right click on the shortcut created by the installer. Press properties. You will see that the first line is the address of the file towards the .exe in quotes (“”) at the end of that line press space once and add -vr, apply and when you run the game directly it will be in the oculus vr window.
i cant save the game, idk why.. i think is the save folder, if someone know how to fix this thx a lot!
(perhaps i put the save folder in the wrong place)

If the game crashes, uninstall, and reinstall with a small change. In the Install screen, there’s an option stating something like “Move CODEX files to installdir”. Select that one, and go for it. Worked for me.

I was having the same problem.
Try searching for a file named “GAME.sav” inside these folder: TetrisEffect -> Saved -> SaveGames
Then right click on the file, select properties and make sure “only read” is NOT selected.
It worked for me!
The game is very good and fun! Everyone should try it before buying!

Mike, you better stfu if you dont know what you are talking about. There have been many tetris games with a new spin to them in the past. Slight changes in gameplay or pieces or whatever.
