   Found a fix on another site

   “For anyone not being able to connect to a solo game, or just stuck “connecting” with the little bird flapping away….I was able to fix it, just by changing the LAN setting to TRUE aka Toggled on, and I turned Global Chat off”

    Thank you, it is working.

    1. Install the game
    2.Go to Rune folder
    3. Copy all from Rune folder and Past it in game directory
    4. when you go to the game menu pick the solo game
    ( there you can set up your game if you like, stack up items, how many castles, cages, servants, how long the day, HP, power, and all the shit you can think off it’s not even important )
    5. The important thing there is just to click on / enable LAN game, press save, and go out
    6. Play the game
